This course is designed for private sector personnel who have completed the OTI 501 instructor course. It is designed to focus on recent changes in OSHA standards with regard to the most common hazards and violations. OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910 General Industry Standard will be provided. This course is required for general industry voluntary compliance outreach trainers every four years. If your card has expired you must take the OSHA 501 course.

IMPORTANT: Please provide a copy of your current authorized trainer card and prerequisite form .  If you do not provide a copy before the course or bring it with you to the course a new card/certificate will not be issued until one is on file with the USF OTI Education Center Office.  Please note that your card must not be more than 90 days expired.  If the card is more than 90 days expired you will need to retake the trainer course (500 for Construction and 501 for General Industry) to remain active. If you do not have your card please contact the education center where you took the course for a copy or a letter stating that you are an authorized trainer and what your expiration date is.
