This course follows the latest CPR and ECC Guidelines. Cardiovascular disease is the single greatest cause of death in the United States. Every year, more than 480,000 adult Americans die of a heart attack or related complications. The victim of an emergency such as a heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke, or choking may be saved from CPR & AED lifesaving skills and techniques training.
- Taking action in an emergency
- Assessing the victim
- Basic life support, including airway management, breathing and circulation
- Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
What you will learn:
CPR & AED Student Workbook contains full color pages that cover the materials necessary for a 4-hour course. The Workbook also includes a copy of the course DVD for refreshing your skills. To purchase this workbook with course completion cards, you must be an authorized NSC instructor.
