OSHA 10-HOUR 1926 CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY OUTREACH PROGRAM
DESCRIPTION
This course will help you understand all that OSHA requires in its Construction Industries Standard, 29CFR1926. Covering topics unique to construction, you will learn OSHA’s requirements for scaffolding, excavations, steel erection, stairways/ladders, personal protective equipment, fall protection and more! Course fee includes US Department of Labor completion card.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This course is designed for all those involved in construction especially personnel interested in developing safety and health programs in the construction industry. This includes, but is not limited to, private sector employees, supervisors, foremen, human resource managers, plant managers, occupational nurses, safety managers, safety engineers, anyone responsible for technical support, and you!
WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND
Facilitators identify safety and health principles that help you meet OSHA requirements. Special emphasis is placed on areas in construction that most commonly result in worker injury or property damage. You are also briefed on basic instructional approaches, improving compliance communication, and training at the work site.
